Install

If a customer uses the "contact the seller" link on one of your listing or transaction pages, the subject line includes the text "listing #..." or "transaction #...", but it's not easy to get to the corresponding page for that listing.

This little Greasemonkey script runs on an Etsy "convo" page, and turns the text "listing #..." or "transaction #..." into a web link to the listing or transaction.

installation and operation
  • Install Firefox and Greasemonkey if you haven't already got them. You'll need to restart Firefox after installing Greasemonkey.
  • Once Greasemonkey is installed and running, follow this link (or click on the orange "install" button above).
  • The convo linker script will be downloaded, and Greasemonkey will ask if you want to install it. Assuming you trust me, click "Install".
  • Go to a convo page in Etsy which includes the text "listing #..." - once the page loads, it should turn into a web link to the relevant listing page.
