This hack adds a small number to the top left of each item thumbnail on the Sold Orders page, showing how many of them item are currently for sale in your shop, so you know if you need to relist the item or not.
This hack was originally suggested by piddix.etsy.com.
Privacy notice: This hack gets information from the Etsy API by way of a service running on etsyhacks.com. It's not accessing or sharing any private data, but since the requests are shop-specific I could, if I were very, very bored, use the access logs to see which shops are using the hack. If that bothers you, please don't use the hack!
- Install Firefox and Greasemonkey if you haven't already got them. You'll need to restart Firefox after installing Greasemonkey.
- Once Greasemonkey is installed and running, follow this link (or click on the orange "install" button above).
- The "relisted items" script will be downloaded, and Greasemonkey will ask if you want to install it. Assuming you trust me, click "Install".
- Go to your Sold Orders page.
- There will be a short delay while the hack gets the listing information.
- Once the information has been downloaded, boxes will appear at the top left of the thumbnail image for each transaction, showing how many items with the same name as this one are currently for sale. Zeros will be in red, to make it a bit easier to spot items that need to be relisted.
- If you want to get the same numbers on your "currently for sale" page, you can go there, click "Tools > Greasemonkey > User Script Commands > Enable relisted items on Your Shop page". Useful if you list the same item in multiple separate listings in your shop.
Note: The listing information is updated no more than every five minutes, so very recently listed items may not be counted straight away.
